Seller's comments and description: i am selling my 1986 short wheel base silverado. Original miles 68k, and was restored by a japanese gm employeemaster mechanic tool and die engineer. He was here on a work visa and restored this truck for fun. When he leftback to japan, i bought it from him. The frame off restoration was meticulously completed over a 10 year period andhas less than 400 miles on full restoration. This truck has almost everything new down to the nut and bolt. Restoration was done by the book, no backyard work done. Complete and full overhaul of the engine andtransmission. This truck runs better than new and truly belongs in a museum. All parts came straight from thefactory he worked at, and was painted there too. The reason i'm selling,,,,,i'm afraid to drive it, it's thatnice. Linex bedliner, all new tires and wheel including original rally wheels and tires, all new windows, newgrill, new bumpers, new body mounting, hid 600k headlights, led tail lights, all new cooling components, includingan electric radiator fan, new air-conditioning ice cold air, both fuel tanks are new, all original emblems,original mirrors, new soft tonneau cover, original gauges and everything works, original stereo, transmissionoverhauled with tci overhaul kit, brand new suspension, all new bearings and bushings, all new brakes, trik flowaluminum heads, emission control, the list goes on and on. For complete listing information please select the click to bid button to see this item on ebay. I started rebuilding and almost done! Brand new motor(352 v-8) and everything that goes on it! New alternator, water pump, oil pump. Radiator, hoses, clutch, throwout bearings, etc etc. Also new stainless brake lines, master cylinder, wheel cylinders and brake pads. Re-greased all bearings in 4x4 wheels. It is a 4 speed with granny. New upholstery, dash bezel, gauges (oil and temp) new fuel tank and sending unit behind seat. Tried to keep all original. Titled and inspected with classic tags in texas! The bed is very good. Very little rust anywhere! There is some surface rust coming through sprayed on primer! I think they call this patina! Look up nada on this one! Ok people, this is a 51 year old truck! Do not expect a new $60,000 dollar truck! I can not enplane this truck any better! I have nothing to hide! I have had a couple people ask for a phone number to contact with questions. Also have some other stuff to go with the truck. Original split rim wheels, brush guard from that era, brand new backup headliner besides the new one installed. The $500 paypal deposit is non-refundable! There is no reserve!
